We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming two-day virtual event, The Lancet-CAMS Health Conference, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) in collaboration with The Lancet on Nov. 22-23, 2023. This interdisciplinary conference aims to be a significant research collaboration between The Lancet and CAMS, with the objectives of enhancing the capacity of Chinese health research, share cutting-edge research, and foster collaboration among experts from around the world. 

As we celebrate the 200th anniversary of The Lancet this year, we are excited to commemorate this milestone with our Chinese colleagues and CAMS. To celebrate The Lancet’s 200th anniversary, we have identified five critical priorities for the future of health: universal health coverage (UHC), mental health, climate change and health, research for health, and child and adolescent health. The conference will focus on these five priorities, as well as topics that are highly relevant to the health of the Chinese population. The conference will feature two keynote speeches and six major sessions: China highlights in The Lancet, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine session, The Lancet Global Health Session, The Lancet Public Health China themed issue session, The Lancet Regional Health -Western Pacific session, and meet the editors of The Lancet group. We will invite top experts and researchers from around the world to participate in discussions and work collaboratively to address the challenges in the field of health.
